Faculty of Health courses require Life Sciences subject because they focus on studying living organisms, human and animal biology. Although Mathematics is the first priority subject, Mathematical Literacy is also accepted.
The main important thing to know is that, where Mathematical Literacy subject is required, Mathematics will always cary more weight than Mathematical Literacy.

You will also find that, most of the courses that require Life Sciences also require Mathematics and not Mathematical Literacy. However, the following courses require a combination of Mathematical Literacy and Life Science:
